In the overview tab of a client record, under the service section, there are two fields; care package summary, and rota comments. These sections can be used to log useful information for your carers to see. The information entered in these sections will be shown in every visit for that client in the app, under the overview tab.
To edit these sections, click the pen icon to the top right of the service section.
Care package summary
The care package summary can be used to log the overview of the person's care package.
As well as appearing in the app, you are able to download the care package summary PDF in the top right corner. This will contain the text from the care package summary, as well as additional information taken from the client's record.

Name
Gender
Date of birth
Local authority reference code
NHS number
Nationality
Ethnicity
Contingency plan text
Client contact details:
Personal & work email
Phone numbers
Addresses
Important contacts, highlighting NOK, GP, and POA
Phone number
Address
Medical information
DNAR information
Medical conditions, active and inactive
Medication, active and inactive
Tasks, active and inactive.
ℹ️ If any sections are not filled out in the client's record they may be omitted from the care package summary PDF.
Customising the summary
If you click on the cog wheel to the right of the download as PDF button, you will see a new pop up asking if you want to customise the care package summary. Clicking on this will bring up a new menu containing each section. By un-ticking boxes, you are able to omit certain sections from the care package summary before downloading.
ℹ️ Certain sections are dependant on others, as an example, you are unable to remove the client contact information section but still show their phone number
Rota comments
The rota comments section is located in the same section as the care package summary in both the management portal and the carer companion app. This however, will not appear in the care package summary PDF.
This can be used for more general information relating to the client.
