You will receive an attempted log in email whenever an unsuccessful attempt to log into your account has been made.

What should I do if I receive this email?

This depends on whether you have attempted to log in yourself but entered details incorrectly, or whether you have not.

If you have unsuccessfully tried to log in yourself

If you have attempted to log in yourself but not been successful, then it is still worth checking the email.

⚠️ It is best practice not to ignore this email without checking. It is still possible that someone has tried to log into your account at the same time as you!

Make sure that it is the correct:

  • Timezone

  • Browser

  • Operating system (OS)

  • Device

  • IP address

If any of these seem suspicious, we strongly suggest changing your password and making it as strong as possible.

If you have not attempted a log in yourself

If you have not attempted to log into your account yourself, then we suggest immediately changing your password to a strong password. This can make it more difficult to hack into your account.
