To access the SSO settings, head to Settings from the main navigation and then Authentication β†’ SSO.

In the top-right of the page, click the three-dot button and then Settings.

Multiple connections per user

By default, users will only be able to authenticate using the first connection that they have linked to their account. If you enable this setting, users will be able to authenticate using any of the connections that they have linked to their account, providing they have an account within that SSO connection.

This setting may be useful if the same user has accounts in multiple SSO connections the use the same email address, for example a Microsoft Entra account and a Google Workspace account.

Enforce same identifier

When a user first authenticates using a connection, the external identifier that is returned by the connection will be stored in the user's account. If you enable this setting, the external identifier must remain consistent each time that the user authenticates using that connection.

You may wish to disable this option if the user's account has been recreated, but their email address remains the same.
