The clocks changing presents a challenge for any scheduling, especially if you provide overnight support.
The adjustment for the time changes in CareLineLive are automatic, this means that bookings after the time change will still be at the new, correct time.
Overnight visits
For any overnight visits occurring when the clocks go forward, the finish time will be affected as bookings generated from the schedule are based off of start time and duration. Using a booking beginning at 22:00 for 10h, you can expect the following finish times:
When there are no changes, the visit will finish at 08:00
When the clocks go forward, overnight visits will finish an hour later than usual. The above visit will finish at 09:00
When the clocks go back, overnight visits will finish an hour earlier than usual. The above visit will finish at 07:00
ℹ️ For both instances, the duration of the visit is still the same.
