This article covers the settings specific to scheduled tasks, find the main tasks article here.

This is the simplest way to get started with tasks, and closely mirrors the way that scheduled visits work. A client has a task schedule cycle (normally one week), and you are asked to choose which times & days of the week the task should be prompted on.

Setting up scheduled tasks

From the tasks page, click the + button to get started and select which task type you want to create.

Under recurrence, select scheduled and you will be presented with these options:

You will need to select the days that the task should occur on, as well as the timeframe of the task. You can either set your own start time and duration, or use one of the following presets:

  • Morning - 05:00 - 11:00

  • Lunch - 11:00 - 15:00

  • Tea - 15:00 - 18:00

  • Evening - 18:00 - 23:00

These are the default options and can be amended in Settings โ†’ Calendar โ†’ Time of day.

โš ๏ธ The duration of the task is the time that the task will be visible if a booking coincides with it. It's a good idea to use a duration that exceeds the length of the booking, especially if the booking time is likely to change.
