When completing tasks, there are a number of task completion statuses that can be used to denote the status of the task for each instance.

This list can be found in Settings โ†’ Tasks. You will be able to see all existing statuses as well as being able to amend them and create your own.

Every status has a code which will be used when generating task/MAR charts to indicate the completion status at a glance.

Creating new statuses

To create a new task completion status, click the + button in the top right corner and fill in the form, you will need to enter/choose from the following:

  • Name - The name of the status

  • Code - The code that will display on task/MAR charts

  • Alertable - Will this status raise an alert?

  • Comment required - Does this status require a comment?

  • Cancelled - Should this code display as the default cancelled status?

Alertable

On the tasks settings you will see that some statuses are either alertable and/or require a comment. Alertable statuses show an exclamation mark on the app when adding a completion, these will also raise either an alertable medication or alertable task alert.

Comment required

If a task status requires a comment, the carer will be unable to save a task with that status unless they have entered a comment in.

Cancelled statuses

If all bookings covering a task are cancelled then the task will be cancelled as you are not expecting a completion to be added in. The default is that this will not generate a completion code and any task/MAR charts will have a blank space. If you want to set a cancelled completion code, you can either amend an existing status, or create a new status to use.
