There aren't many requirements for running CareLineLive: an internet connection and a computer; however you'll have a better experience if you follow the guidance below.
Management Platform
The management platform is currently supported on the two latest versions of Google Chrome. We recommend using the most recent version as it contains the features and security updates necessary to provide a stable experience.
To check if you are using the most up to date version, click on the three dots in the top right of your browser, this is to the right of the URL bar and will likely be next to your initial if you are signed in to a Google account. Select settings.
In settings, select "About Chrome" on the left hand side, in the middle, Chrome will show that it is checking for updates, before telling you if you are up to date, or whether there is an update available.
ℹ️ If it has been a while since it was last updated, there may be an update option in the top right corner of your Chrome browser. This will restart your browser with the latest update.
Carer Companion App
The companion app is available on mobile devices running Android and iOS:
Android
The Android app requires Android 5 (Lollipop) or above, GPS capability, and a rear-facing camera.
⚠️ Please note that the Android version needs to be Google Play certified. Some mobile devices run on operating systems that are based on Android but are not Google Play certified e.g. Amazon Fire OS ones and EMUI ones (Huawei).
iOS
The iOS app is supported on iOS 12.2 and above. From January 2022, the iOS app will be supported on iOS 13.0 and above
ℹ️ It is highly recommended that iOS users have Google maps installed for the most accurate locations for client addresses.
Google maps
To be able to use the app effectively for client addresses, the Google maps app must be installed on your phone. This is because it is more consistently accurate with locations given.
