We are pleased to announce the addition of web push notifications in CareLineLive. This feature enables you to receive timely updates directly on your desktop, even if CareLineLive is not currently open in your web browser.
What is Web Push?
Web push notifications are clickable messages that pop up on your computer screen, delivered directly through your web browser. They offer a faster and more convenient way to stay informed about important events within CareLineLive, without the need to constantly check your email or the application itself.
Where can Web Push notifications be used?
Web Push notifications are supported by most modern desktop browsers. They are supported on all Android browsers, however for iOS devices you must first add the website to your home screen.
Currently, web push notifications are available for the following events:
Announcements: Get a notification when a new announcement has been published.
Exports Completed: Get notified as soon as your exports are ready for review.
Alerts Generated: Stay on top of critical alerts and take immediate action.
Finished generating reports: If you have a report that is taking a long time to generate, we'll notify you once it's ready.
Document signing complete: If you have a document out for eSignature, we'll notify you once all parties have signed.
Failed Login Attempts: Enhance security by receiving instant notifications about unauthorised access attempts.
Care Circle access requests: Be notified when a new emergency access request is submitted for the Care Circle portal.
How to enable Web Push notifications
Log in to CareLineLive: Ensure you're logged into your CareLineLive account.
Open the notification panel: Click the notification icon at the top-right of the page
Enable Web Push: Click the Enable button when prompted to enable push notifications.
Browser Prompt: Your web browser will likely prompt you to grant CareLineLive permission to send notifications. Click 'Allow' to enable web push.
Test the push notifications: In the notifications panel, click open the menu and click Send test push notification
That's it! You're now set up to receive push notifications.
Note: Web push notifications are dependent on your browser settings and may require additional configuration in certain cases.
