Some of your clients may have multiple addresses where their care takes place. You are able to add multiple addresses that can be used for visits. This means carers can check in and out of bookings without it flagging up as the wrong address and that any mileage payments can be adjusted accordingly.
Setting up an alternate address
To set up an alternate address, head to the profile tab within the client's record. At the bottom of the page you will see a section marked Addresses. This will show you the address(es) that have been input for this client. By clicking the :add: button, you can add extra addresses if you provide care at other locations for the client. Once another address has been added to the system, you will need to select a default. This is the address that will be prioritised when creating bookings.
Selecting an alternate address for visits
You can set the desired address in the schedule if the person's care can occur at different addresses. When entering information about the booking, you can select the address. This only needs to be done if the address will not be the default address.
On a generated booking
If you need to updated the address for an existing booking, open it up by double clicking on it from the agenda or roster and selecting view. Click on the address at the right hand side and a drop down menu will appear allowing you to select the address you need. Select the alternate address and click save. This is now the set address for where the call is to take place. The carer's app will be updated with the location information once this has happened.
