Under Settings → Roster → Restrictions, you are able to restrict the allocation of bookings if certain circumstances exist or not. There are three different categories that you can use for restrictions.

ℹ️ By default, none of these restrictions are enabled and you will need to opt in to any that you wish to use

Availability

Use the scheduled or ad hoc availability to set whether a carer is able to have bookings.

  • Carer must be scheduled as available - Carers can only have bookings when there is availability set on their rota. This can either be scheduled or ad hoc

  • Carer cannot be scheduled as unavailable - Carers cannot have any bookings if they are scheduled as unavailable. The ad hoc unavailability will always restrict allocation

ℹ️ You can use ad hoc availability to override a carer's scheduled availability if you need to allocate them to a booking in a time that would restrict the allocation

Addresses

  • Clients must have an address - Bookings for clients cannot be created for client's who do not have an address in their record

  • Carers must have an address - A carer cannot be allocated to a booking if they do not have an address in their record

Training & requirements

  • Carers must not have incomplete requirements - If a carer has any requirements that are not set to complete or not applicable they cannot have bookings allocated
