Each client has their own people tab which houses three sections:

  • Important contacts

  • Buyers

  • Carer Compatibility

To access and manage this, head to a person's record, and click into the people tab.

Important contacts

This is where you can store a client's important contacts, including next of kin, power of attorney and GP details.

To add a contact, click on the + button for that section. You can then choose from three options.

New person

A new person is a person who is not already in the system. For each person added, you will be able to add in their relationship to the client in question and, if necessary, mark then as next of kin, GP, or power of attorney.

You need to put in a first and last name but all other details can be added as needed. Including email addresses and phone numbers. You are able to add an address if needed as well.

New organisation

A new organisation is an organisation that is not already in the system. You will need to add in the relationship to the client and, if necessary can be marked as the client's GP.

As with a new person, you must enter the name of the organisation but you can choose which contact details you wish to add for them.

Global contact

If you have created any global contacts, you will be able to add them straight to the person's record here. Select the contact from the dropdown menu before clicking "Add".

You are able to add the global contact as the client's GP as well.

Relationship types

The relationship types that can be assigned to an important contact are preset, but can be amended. To make any changes, head to Settings โ†’ Relationship types.

Buyers

A client's buyer(s) is the person or organisation responsible for funding their service.

See here for more information.

Carer compatibility

Carer compatibility allows you to set which carers are best to go to a client.

See here for more information.
