Interactive eMAR is a module within the Client Profile that enables you to view and interpret MAR charts directly in the platform. It captures all medication tasks associated with a client and displays the status of each task. You can interact with individual medication entries to view details information about each event.

Getting Started

To use Interactive eMAR, the client must have medication tasks scheduled. Before scheduling medication tasks, ensure medications are configured in the Medication section under the Medical tab of the client profile.

Interactive eMAR Display

To navigate to the Interactive eMAR go to Clients-Clients Record-eMAR.

When opening the Interactive eMAR module you will be presented with the following information:

• A view of the current month (always shown by default)

• The current date is highlighted for quick identification

• Each medication assigned to the client along with the scheduled medication time

• The relevant status code for each medication instance

Status Codes

The status codes displayed in Interactive eMAR are fully customisable and specific to your environment. A key of the status codes configured in your environment is available at the bottom of the page. To view the full list of status codes, select the open button.

When viewing a medication task scheduled for a future time, a default status code symbol will be displayed to indicate its pending status.

If a task completion has not been received, the status will be displayed by a red !

Changing Date

You can change the Mar chart date using the date selector at the top of the screen. MAR charts are only available to view in monthly periods and selecting a different month will display all the medication information for that month.
