The default is that every client schedule is for a single week. This means that whatever is entered into the schedule will be created exactly the same week in and week out.

If a client does have a multi-week schedule cycle then you are able to account for this. This can be a great way to schedule in:

  • Visits that happen every other week

  • Visits that happen every other week

  • Scheduling carers that work on a week 1 and week 2 pattern (or more than that!)

Setting up the cycle

Head to a client's schedule and click on the settings cog wheel in the top right. You will have two options:

The start date controls which week is Week 1, if you need to adjust this to align everyone's schedules to the same pattern, you are able to amend the start date. The number of weeks can be increased here before being saved. You can check the agenda to see which week is currently happening.

❗If you increase the cycle to 3 or more weeks, you will be see a warning message. This is because it may be better to use a smaller schedule cycle. If you want any advice on the schedule, contact support!

Adding schedule entries to the correct week

You can control which week you are viewing in the schedule using the arrows towards the top right, and you can see which week is selected in the top left of the schedule screen,

When creating schedule entries, the first option you can select is the week, you will be able to choose an individual week, or select all weeks for the schedule cycle.

If you are using the click and drag method, the week you are currently in will be pre-selected. This can be updated as needed.
