The amount a carer is to be paid for a booking is dependent on the contract assigned and potentially options on the booking type. Once a booking has been created you are able to amend the payment options to override these initial settings. There are two sections to this, the payment settings and the travel settings.
Payment settings
To do this, double click on a a booking from the agenda or roster screen and click on the ⋮ icon next to the carers name. Click into change payment settings.
Contract - The first option is to select the carer contract to be used. There is a dropdown allowing you to choose which contract you want to swap the booking to, as well as being able to select any fixed rates that are on that contract.
Billable/payable - The booking type controls whether the booking is billable and/or payable. If you need to, you are able to amend this to prevent the booking charging the client or paying the carer if necessary.
Should mileage be paid? The contract and carer transport type will determine whether the carer will be paid mileage, use this setting to override to pay, or not to pay mileage.
Rate adjustments - Pay a percentage of the normal rate for the booking, this can be paid at above 100% if needed.
Additional payments/deductions
If you need to apply an addition or reduction to the payment for the booking you can do so here, select if it is an addition or a reduction, add a description, an amount and if necessary a pay element code. You are able to apply multiple times if needed.

Travel settings
Beneath change payment settings there is also an option to change travel settings. Here you can adjust two options.
Override transport type - This allows you to change the transport type for the booking, depending on your transport type and mileage settings this can affect the mileage and travel time payable for the booking.
Mileage payable - this is the same option as above for overriding the contract for mileage payable.
