The amount that a booking will be charged is calculated using the bookings length and the contract assigned. It is possible to adjust the billing options for a booking once it has created if you need to amend the amount, or change contracts.

To amend these, double click on the booking from either the roster or agenda screens before clicking the ⋮ to the right of the client's name.

Billing options

Select change billing options to adjust these settings. The options available are:

  • Service contract - Select the service contract you wish to use

    • Fixed rates - If the contract has fixed rates you can select which one to use

  • Billable - Select if the booking should be billable

    • Use default for booking type - The booking type determines whether the booking should be charged

    • Billable - The booking will be charged

    • Non-Billable - The booking will not be charged

  • Discount (%) - Optionally apply a discount to this booking

Billing adjustments

The billing adjustments allows you to create a transaction (credit or debit note) that will be linked to the booking.

⚠️ Where the transaction is linked to the booking, you are unable to change which buyer will be charged. It must use the same buyer that will be charged for the booking. If it should be charged to a different buyer, you can create them from the financial tab within the client's record.

Invoice notes

You can leave notes against a booking that will appear on the line item for that booking in the invoice. To do this, click the edit option under notes and enter the information into the invoice notes section.

ℹ️ You will only be able to see invoice notes in an invoice if your invoice display density shows individual bookings
