If you're an Administrator and need to make an existing user a carer, you can assign the carer role to their account within your environment.
Please note that you must assign a contract to the new carer in order for them to be active in your environment. For more information, see Carer contracts.
To assign a user the carer role:
From Accounts, click on the user's name to open their record.
In the top right hand corner of their record, click the three dots.
Click Make user a carer.
Select the team or teams you want to assign them to and click Create.
The new carer record is created.
You must now assign a contract to the new carer before they can become active in your environment. For information on how to do this, see Carer contracts.
