Before making a carer inactive, you need to add a finish date to all their assigned contracts. You should also add finish dates to any contracts that are no longer needed because the carer has moved to a different contract.
When a carer's contract finishes, they won't be able to access your environment.
To add a finish date for a carer contract:
Click Contracts in the carer's record, then click the three dots next to the contract.
Click Edit.
Click the Finish checkbox.
Please note, once a contract has expired bookings can no longer be created for that contract.
If the carer doesn't have another active contract they'll be marked as inactive.
Select the contract finish reason. Please see below to see how you can amend or add contract finish reasons.
To view the contract finish reasons for a carer, in Carers, click Carer contract finish reasons.
To add a contract finish reason, click the + icon and enter a finish reason, then click Create.
To edit a contract finish reason, click it in the list.
Make your changes and click Update.
You can unallocate future bookings for the carer after the contract finish date.
Click Unallocate bookings.
