If a client no longer needs your services, you can add a finish date to their contract and make them inactive to prevent them from having bookings assigned to them.

For more information on client service contracts, see Client service contracts. For information on how to assign a contract to a client, see How to assign a contract to a client to make them active.

To add a finish date for a client contract type:

  1. Click Contracts in the client's record, then click the three dots next to the contract.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Click the Finish checkbox.

    • Please note, once a contract has expired bookings can no longer be created for that contract.

    • If the client doesn't have another active contract they'll be marked as inactive.

  4. Select the contract finish reason.

  5. You can cancel future bookings for the client after the contract finish date.

    Click Cancel bookings.
