There may be occasions where you wish to either prevent access to an account after a certain date, or to set up a temporary account for someone.

You can set an expiry date on an account to accomplish this.

Adding an expiry date

Open the user's profile, and click Set account expiry in the actions menu.

Choose the expiry date

Select the date and time that the account should expire. If the account already has an expiry date, you can also remove it here.

Notes

  • Only an administrator can add an expiry for another administrator.

  • You cannot set an expiry date on your own account.

  • You must have the "Change the expiry date of user accounts" permission to set account expiry dates.
