Publishing is how you can control when carers can see their bookings and shifts. If you don't have access to the app, there are a couple of ways you can check to see if a booking has been published.

ℹ️ Bookings and shifts can be seen for a maximum of 28 days. If an item is further away than 28 days, it cannot be seen.

Check the individual booking

You can check a booking to find out if and when it was published. From either the roster or agenda, double click on a booking and look on the right hand side of the open booking.

The above image shows that the booking was published automatically three days ago. How recently and the method of publishing will always be shown. If the booking was published manually, the user who published it will be shown as well.

The above image shows that the booking has not been published. Clicking on the arrow will publish the booking.

Audit tab

You can also check the audit tab for this information. It can offer a more precise time for the publishing if that is needed.

Check the publishing screen

It might sound obvious, but it's always worth checking here. It could be that a booking has not yet been published at all. Click into publishing from the main navigation bar and find the day you want to check. If the booking appears here, it has not been published.

Is publishing enabled?

If publishing is not enabled, then the bookings and shifts should be available for 28 days.

What happens when bookings are published but not visible on a carer's app?

If bookings are published but a carer still can't see them, check out these articles for more information.
